Walkthrough – Stage 1 – Twinleaf Town

HOW TO DO IT

• Firstly head over to your rival’s house, (His house is diagonal to your in Twinleaf Town)
• Meet him and talk to him, then go upstairs in his house.
• Go back downstairs, talk to your opponents mom. She’ll tell you to route 201, so do it! (route 201 is north of the town)

• Magikarp (Old Rod and Good Rod)
• Golden (Good Rod)

HOW TO DO IT

• Simply join up with your rival then follow him west to Lake Verity (Remember not to venture east as you do not want to enter the grass without any pokemon of your own.)

Walkthrough – Stage 1.2 – Lake Verity

HOW TO DO IT

• Meet Proffessor Rowan and his assistant. He is upset about enviromental changes around the lake over the last few years. After talking to him he will leave for Route 201.
• Proffessor Rowan has left his breifcase in the bushes, as you go near it, a wild Starly will appear. You will then have a choice of using one of the pokemon in the breif case to battle it. (This will end up being the pokemon that you are given a little later on in the game so choose carefully

Turtwig is a grass pokemon and has the overgrow ability.
Chimchar is a fire pokemon with the ability Blaze.
Piplup is a water pokemon with the ability Torrent. 


• Okay after you have beaten Starly Proffessor Rowans assistant will return and is worried about the fact you sed Proffessor Rowan’s pokemon, get back to Twinleaf Town.
